Why You Don’t Want to Be An Armadillo in the South
Did you know that Armadillos are treated as pests in the American South?
This is why a man in Georgia tried to shoot one. His approach, however, was all wrong.
According to Israel National News, Larry McElroy decided to use his handgun to shoot an armadillo that was about 100 yards from his mother-in-law’s mobile home.
The bullet bounced off the Armadillo’s plated shell, hit a fence, entered the back door of the mobile home, and struck McElroy’s elderly mother-in-law in the back as she was sitting in a recliner. Thankfully, she is expected to make a full recovery.
This story goes to show: no matter what the “pest” may be, it’s always best to call in a professional!
