Where We Came From
In October 1984, Neil Parker started Bug Busters—a full-service pest control company—out of the basement of his family home in Acworth, Georgia. In the beginning, Neil was a one-man-show; he was the Sales Representative and the Technician. And of course, when drumming up business, he started with who he knew. Some of Bug Busters’ first customers were Neil’s friends from church, some of whom are still customers to this day.
Gradually, fueled by Neil’s hard work and the support of his family, Bug Busters grew. Neil began hiring employees—one, two, three, four. It was then, with four employees and in its second year of operation, that Bug Busters graduated from the Parker family basement to its first physical location.
And after that, the rest is history.
Where We Are Today
Bug Busters is still, in many ways, similar to the company Neil started in 1984. We’re still a family-owned and operated pest control company—just a bit bigger. Today, Bug Busters is helmed by Neil’s two children: Court Parker, CEO, and Daphne Bertholf, CFO.
We still stress the importance of knowing our customers personally and offering thorough and tailored service. We are still committed to a standard of excellence in the products and services that we provide our customers.
Today, we serve residential and commercial customers in the southeastern United States and have four physical locations: Woodstock, GA, Hapeville, GA, Eatonton, GA, and Chattanooga, TN.
We offer environmentally friendly pest control solutions to protect your home, business, family, and pets. We can inspect and treat your home or business for every pest you may encounter, including (but not limited to) termites, mosquitos, bed bugs, ants, beetles, fleas, rodents, wildlife, and more.
