What Kind of Insect Repellent Is Safest for Your Child?
One thing that is always a concern when dealing with insect repellents is what kinds are safe for children to use. With the many insect-borne diseases floating around, you can’t afford to simply not use insect repellent, especially on vulnerable children. However, many parents are not comfortable using some of the chemicals in insect repellents on their children. Even more natural repellents made with Picaridin and oil of lemon eucalyptus is not safe to use on children under 3 years old according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. So how are we supposed to protect our children from those bloodsucking insects out there?
Well, the answer may just lie with Ultrasonic Mosquito repellents. For example, the Tua Cucina’s Mosquito Repellent Keychain doesn’t expose children to any chemicals and it clips on easily, so they can wear it anywhere and if it comes off, the device is simple enough that they can put it back on themselves. Heck, this sounds like something anyone would prefer to wear instead of sticky bug spray.
Do you know of any other insect repellents that are suitable for kids?
